About this course:
This course contains one or more lessons that present learning exercises covering the key points you will need to understand to take the final exam. Although you can take the final exam at any time, we recommend that you first complete the course before attempting the test.
During the course:
- You will be asked a series of questions designed to make you think, and therefore retain more information about an Epson product; we’ll refer to these as Learning Exercises.
- Learning Exercises are not graded or tracked, and in fact, it’s perfectly acceptable if you don’t get the correct answer – most people learn best from their mistakes.
- In most cases, you’ll be given two chances to get the correct answer; if you still don’t, you’ll be given the correct answer and will proceed either to another question or to an “Info Screen.”
- “Info Screens” recap the important information you should have learned while answering the questions in the Learning Exercises.
- At any time, you can go back to the lesson menu simply by clicking the lesson name on the sidebar at left, or you can continue through the course.
How to navigate through a course:
- Each lesson will begin with a Lesson Overview that lists the topics included in each lesson.
- The Learning Exercise screens are created as Macromedia Flash files. Some files may take a few moments to load, so please be patient.
- You must have Flash installed or activated to take the course. For more information on Flash and Downloading the free player, click here.
- The Learning Exercises consist of a variety of questions: Drag and Drop, Multiple Choice, Multiple Answer, True/False, and Fill-in-the-Blank.
- After reading a question, either drag, click, or type in the correct answer and click the “Check Answer” (1) button. Some questions have a Reset button (2) to clear your choices. Other questions allow you to de-select your answer and select a new one. On some multiple choice questions, you must select all answers that apply, meaning there may be one or more correct response to be clicked.
- While on a Learning Exercise screen, you can receive additional help on how to answer the question. Simply click and hold the EKU Wizard button (1) to receive step-by-step instructions and assistance on that question type.
About the final exam:
- When the course is complete and you are returned to the Intro Page, you can then click the “Final Exam” button to take the final exam.
- Unlike the questions in the course, the exam will be scored.
- After you submit your answers, you will be told whether any of your answers are incorrect.
- If you wish, you may retake the test as many times as you like to improve your score.
- We strive for all students to score 100% on all exams.
